From my point of view new technologies really affect human relationships, but in this case in a positive way. I believe that smartphones and computers aren’t only a great advance in technology but can also help us in our relationships.
On the one hand, keeping in touch with
someone whom you don’t usually see would be impossible without smartphones
because, although you could write letters to that person, it wouldn’t be
comfortable doing it every day. Therefore, each time you would write less and,
eventually, you would lose contact.
Moreover, smartphones can also help you if
you want to say something to a friend.
For instance, you are going to meet a friend at six but it is a quarter
to six and you realize that you are going to be late, so you can send him a
text message and he will probably get less angry.
On the other hand, there are people who get
hooked as smartphones and computers can be very addictive so we must be
careful.
